A dental wax composed mainly of paraffin, microcrystalline wax, resin, and discreet color-matching choices. This wax is relatively hard and slightly brittle at room temperature but becomes soft and pliable when heated. It is used to establish the initial arch form in making trial plates for the arrangement of artificial denture teeth and the construction of complete dentures.
EASY TO USE- Easy to form and carve, resists flaking or chipping during carving, and boils out cleanly. Rigid at mouth temperature but able to be molded at higher temperatures without cracking or tearing. Leaves no residue upon boiling out.
